そのあり方から、悠々自適なさまを指す。

革との出会いは一期一会です。
「自然素材だから」という一般的な理由にとどまらず、新しく世に生み出されるもの、需要が伸びず廃版となってゆくもの、果てはサンプルとして生み出された名もない革など。

その場の感性に委ねて、行き当たりばったりに制作する。
そんな一点物の作品たちに、この名前を付けようと思います。

What is 晴耕雨読(SEIKOUUDOKU)?

Japanese idiom.
It means “going out to the fields to cultivate on sunny days and reading at home on rainy days.
When used as a Japanese idiom, it is used as an expression of a person who lives in a relaxed and natural way.

An encounter with leather is a once in a lifetime encounter. I would rather be free to imagine than to create the same thing from a commercial point of view.

As it is.
With these thoughts in mind, I decided to give these works this name.
